Little Black B****rd
Created and performed by Noel Tovey
A hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010, Little Black B****rd is an autobiographical tale about growing up with the worst start in life: being gay, black, and poor in an era when Aboriginals were considered sub-human.
76-year old Aboriginal Elder Noel Tovey is an internationally successful actor, dancer, choreographer and campaigner and was director of the indigenous welcoming at the Sydney Olympics. His astonishing life story is shocking, inspiring and totally mesmerizing. With truth and theatricality, this is a fantastic example of the vital art of Australian storytelling.
