About "Devil on the Heath"

It's the 1950s, and while Frank Turner sings of the 'Summertime Blues' and quiffs his hair, America introduces the village of Fenbeach to something capable of making the whole of East Anglia rock 'n' roll.

Indeed, all hell (nearly) breaks loose when Frank pinches a crate from the local USAF Base - but then Granny Coleman did predict trouble when she came across 'the devil' on the heath.

As the superpowers go on red alert and Det. Sgt. Biles blows his nose and hunts for missing toilets, Colonel Curtis E Horner (USAF) is only soothed by a special Fenbeach version of 'The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia'.

Has the whole world gone mad? Or is this the way it stays sane? The summertime blues have never been more hilarious...or serious!
